The afternoon practice, practice number 4 since the Bowl athletes have arrived, is about to start wrapping up.  The tempo's been great so far, despite the literally mercurial weather.  Players are bonding quickly and rapidly becoming more in sync with each passing (no pun intended) moment.  It's amazing to watch a group of disparate pieces come together as a well-oiled machine, the polished whole being indicative of the immensely talented parts.

From here, the players from both teams will travel back to the hotel for another session with the media.  Day 1 featured some nice stories and each one of these guys seems to display a great head on their shoulders, a tribute not only to themselves but the O-D scouts as well.  Take for example Corey Liuget from Team East who related the tale of a rough neighborhood growing up and how he feels he owes it to himself and those who have supported him up to this point to continue to succeed and be the best he can be.  Just one nugget of many that we hope to get out to you as Bowl Week continues.

After the media grills the players it's off to dinner at Strike Miami, an entertaining sort of restaurant/bowling alley where that competitive spirit can show itself again in the form of some friendly 10-pin action where the only things getting knocked around, hopefully, will be the pins.  Tons of great pictures from the week so far have been uploaded to the site and you can expect a lot more from todays practices and tonight's dinner/bowling extravaganza by tomorrow!
